move itunes main program

ITunes .exe is on my C drive

The music library is on the D drive

I want to remove the exe from C & reinstall on D

Easy way to do this????

iTunes for Windows install I just read an Apple support article dated 12/3/2018: "Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later" where it says to delete the iTunes, Bonjour etc folders located in Program Files or Common Files. Those folders do NOT contain any iTunes or Bonjour or Application Support folders. After downloading iTunes from the Microsoft store, there is no desktop icon. Also, iTunes or Apple are not listed in the Control Panel's "Uninstall a Program". I finally found the iTunes.exe application file and created a shortcut. It is a 0 kb file hidden under many layers of the Users folder: C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\AppleInc.iTunes_nzyj5cx40ttqa\iTunes.exe. Why is it buried there and why no uninstall listing? Apple Support can be a little more perceptive and insightful if they care to instead of giving us blatantly misleading info.

Re-installing iTunes 12.8.2.3 I cannot upgrade the system to Catalina due to use of necessary software for my work that is 32 bit. Meanwhile iTunes needs to be re-installed. Anyone have experience with this? Can I do it without loosing my library (445.1Gb of music)?

Uninstall iTunes and all Apple components in reverse alphabetical order. Install iTunes, paying particular attention to the option to choose an installation location. Note that some components are still installed on the system drive. If you burn CDs you may need to copy a configuration folder from one drive to the other, See also Make a split library portable and the advice on relocatting iOS device backups.
