Sim locked Iphone7

I have a new replacement iPhone 7 not sim locked as it is illegal in Denmark where the iPhone is bought. The iPhone is bought from one provider and are using a second providers sim card with no problem. Now the iPhone is for some reason been locked to the provider of the sim card and cannot be used with other sim cards at all. The sim provider says they don’t lock phones and therefor they are not able to unlock it? Apple support can tell me it is the sim card providers ID the iPhone is sim locked with, but Apple are not able to unlock it. What to do?

Please I need help, make the purchase of a fully functional factory released iPhone, but when I add my sim card it tells me that I must place a valid sim card from an operator, the iPhone is legal, but it tells me that the sim is blocked, that is unblocked through the phone of the previous owner or how? thanks 4 your help

SIM CARD UNLOCKING Hi apple team, as it can be seen from your good system, this is a second-hand iPhone, and I do not know if it was brand new from where I bought it.
