Since the past week, when I use youtube or netflix on my iPad, and open another app with dark background (private safari, tweetbot,etc.)
it shows the app that I was using as light background almost as a watermark, if I let the ipad rest for 15 minutes with screen locked, it dissapears.
Does anyone know why is this happening? and how to fix this?

It may just be a glitch with the graphics card part of the device.
If your device is under warranty you can make an appointment and take it in, especially if you can replicate it. They may or may not do anything but good to have it documented officially.
I’ve had mine mess up a couple of times and I simply close out of the app or do a forced reboot.
I would take it in for testing. That does not seem normal behavior.
You might reset the iPad first to see if that helps. Hold the home and power keys down until the Apple logo appears.
