Messages with Cleared Flags remain in the Flagged Folder

Ive tried most options including:

-unflagging and reflagging,

-restarting mac mail,

-selecting the flagged mailbox and using rebuild option from mailbox menu

-dragging the flagged items to a different folder

None pf these seem to work.

Any suggestions?

Im in mac mail version 11.2 and running mac OS High Sierra v10.13.3

Flags in Mail I have a 2020 MacBook Air running macOS Monterey 12.5, on which I use the Mail app. I have recently archived some messages to "On My Mac" folders from a webmail based service that I accessed via the Mail app. Some of these messages were flagged. I have deleted all the flags from all the messages in all my email accounts, but the Mail app still shows 2 flagged messages in the "Flagged" folder at the top. When I open this folder, it is empty. I have tried Mailbox > Rebuild. There are no flagged emails on the webmail system. I have no idea how to get rid of this "2" notification next to the Flagged folder. Can anyone help?

Mail app's "Flagged" folder shows I have one flag, but when I click the folder it is empty. I have a Macbook pro with macOS Cataliina version 10.15.4. Within my mail app, my Flagged folder shows that I have one flagged message. However, when I click this folder, it is empty. This is driving me crazy. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? Thank you!

Where did my Mac Mail Flagged Folders go? After the latest OS update all of my Mac Mail flagged message folders vanished, where did they go? Also, why if I was directed here specifically because I asked a question in Mac Mail Help. Why isn't there a topic for Mac Mail?

desktop iMac(10.13.3) (mail version 11.2), MacBook (10.13.3) (mail version 11.2).

sometimes works on my iMac, but never on my matchbook...
