I have MB Pro with two hard drives and will likely need to take it into repair. Once is for time machine backups and the other is an encrypted disk for the OS and regular usage.
Will the repair require that I provide access to my files, assuming the repair doesn't involve my hard disk(s) in any way?

That's not true at all. Why would the shop need my personal password when I could create an admin login with their own password.
Both disks are encrypted and internal and while my backup is internal, I also have secured backups in the cloud.
An admin account would have access to all areas of your computer. Do as Kappy suggested. They will need access to work on your computer.
