I was trying to re-enter my fingerprint in the iphone settings. I could not complete the process as it wasn't taking the new prints. So, I had to restart the phone and after that it stopped taking my fingerprints and is showing the message "iphone is disabled - connect to itunes". I haven't backed up all my data. Possible to restore without loosing data?

It's too late to take a backup or copy any content off it, you will have to reset the phone back to factory defaults : If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
