How do I print a single email message, not a thread?

How do I print a single email message instead of a thread? I’ve tried selecting but then you can’t select the sender and the receiver. I’ve tried double-clicking on the message but that just brings up the whole thread again. It’s pretty crazy that I can’t print a single email message and have to include personal information not relevant for my needs. I use an iPad air 2 with iOS 11.2.5. I’ve seen people asking this question in 2014 and 2012, so I think it should be fixed by now. I’ve seen suggestions to use command P but there is no command button on the iPad perhaps it has a different name?
