trackpad not working

track pad not working for my macbook pro 2015 retina after updating to mac os high sierra what to do?

Mac Pro, macOS High Sierra (10.13.3)

1) Check for swollen battery. Carefully examine the seam between the top-cover (keyboard deck) and the bottom cover at the point closest to you in normal typing position. ¿Any sign of a gap here? if yes, take your MacBook Pro for service ASAP.


2) Performa an SMC Reset. Be sure to use the keys on the LEFT side of the keyboard, adjacent to the fn key -- the keys with the same names on the right side are not "wired in" and will not work.

3) if no joy, schedule a service appointment.
