my apple wireless keyboard doesn't ligh t up, even with new batteries
My wireless apple keyboard doesn't light up, even with new batteries. How to solve the problem?

I have the same issue a have spent no less than 15 hours, including 6 hours with AppleCare, to resolve it. Here are some things that DON"T work, so you won't have to waist your time:
- Turning FileVault On and Off (5-6 hours)
- Reinstalling OSX 10.13.3 (latest as of this writing) (5 hours)
- Rebooting your machine over and over again
- Running disk utilities in safe mode or otherwise
- Toggling the setting in system pref > keyboard > adjust keyboard brightness
- Repeating the last step after/before boot ups
AppleCare in this matter was clueless in discussion with four different reps.
Looking forward to someone finding out how to resolve this.
May Mac is 2 weeks old.
