iphone 6s home button doesn't wake up the device always

First of all please don't suggest me to go with a Genius i'm NOT in the States.

Happens randomly, it started happening since ios 10 but more frequently recently with ios11.

I use to unlock my device pressing the home button once and that's all but sometimes nothing happens, I'have noticed a delay sometimes it wakes up after 2 seconds.

I know i'm not alone with this issue. is it a hardware or a sofware one?,

I think it is a software one my ipad air 2 used to do the same but since ios 11 it doesn't happen anymore.

Any suggestions to fix this?
