Problems with Google Map on 2008 Macbook Pro

How do I get Google maps to show aerial maps. This stopped working a few months ago. I can get street map and street photo but aerial is all black and/or a long time to show streets but on black background. . I have a 2008 Apple MacBook Pro with El Capitan.

Street maps gone from my Apple Maps?! A week or so ago, I opened Apple Maps on my desktop (Mac Studio running current Monterey) and there are so streets, only a blank grid. When I search out a location, the info bubble appears and points to nothing. The satellite view shows the aerial imagery but with no street names and minimal labeling. Is there anyway of fixing this that is easier than an OS re-install?? Thanks!
