Right now I am using Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.3
In previous versions like Mac OS Sierra and Mac OS X El - Capitan the recents folder was All my files , only name has been changed a slight difference is there I have answered for the op how to search the files , folders using search criteria in previous screen shots .
And trying to pick on "newbies" is unecessary
I guess that's why you haven't read all the posts of users complaining that "Recents" doesn't behave the same as "All My Files". Or all the "other" contributors explaining how you can recreate what "All My Files" did. 😎
You seem to be the only user on here that thinks it's just a name change.
You are unnecessary continuing the discussion , so please contact apple support and verify my answer .😝
For every answer I have not installed Mac OS Sierra or Mac OS X El Capitan or previous versions in present .
Lets not bother with tygb, do you have a Mac with Sierra on it or know somebody that does, El Capitan, Yosemite and Mavericks should work too if they have All My Files in the Finder sidebar. You can make a copy of the All My Folders search criteria and save it as a folder and then transfer it over to your High Sierra install.
Open a new Finder window in the Mac with El Capitan or Sierra etc, highlight All My Files now click on the Gear icon in your Toolbar, click on Search Criteria. On the right side of the dialogue you should see Save, click it, now choose a place to save the Smart Folder to, the Desktop would be a good idea. now you can then move that folder over to your Mac with High Sierra, you will also be able to add it to your Finder sidebar.
All My Files has been removed.
See this Barney-15E's explanation how to create your own version.
Using Mac OS high Sierra 10.13.3 the name is now " recents " in finder sidebar see this article Recents - Apple Support

FWIW, "Recents" and what was "All My Files" are not the same thing.
No, it's not just a name change. But I don't have time to waste.
Same here time is important for me also .😁
I know what "All My Files" was and I know what "Recents" is. You are the only one that seems confused.
🙂 in fact newbies must gain knowledge from apple support sometimes also .
