iMessage on phone show “delivered” but iMessage on MacBook air shows “read”?

I sent a “bundle” of three short iMessages to someone two days ago. My MacBook Air shows that the three messages were “read” but my iPhone 7 shows that the three were only “delivered” but the messages before them were "read." Today, a “read” with a specific time showed up under the first two messages of the bundle as if they were “read” today but there’s still a “delivered” at the end of my last message. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? Both my laptop and my phone are up to date regarding software.

iPhone 7, iOS 11.2.6
