iphone keeps repeating songs

A few days ago, my iPhone started repeating songs. Whenever a song finishes, it plays again, whether I'm on shuffle or not. It doesn't make a difference if I'm playing music through the phone speaker, or via bluetooth, the same thing happens. I have tried restarting the phone but this doesn't help. I can't play an album through without having to click the next song button after each song, so it's very frustrating. I'm not sure if I pushed a button or changed a setting somewhere, or if this is a bug. Because of this, I can't really use my iphone for music right now.

This issue is not happening on my mac, just iphone.

I searched through this forum and noticed this issue a few years ago, but did not find a proper resolution.

Why is this happening?
