No settings menu items on Apple TV - just Network Connectivity error message

Just moved into a new house and trying to connect my Apple TV. It worked at my last place - same TVs, same cords. It comes up with all of the icons, but all of them say there's a connectivity issue, including the Settings icon, so I can't get into the Setting menu. Have tried different cables and different TVs - just can't get to the point where I can try to reset the network password. I am on WiFi. Any ideas how I can get the Settings menu to appear?
