How to repair admin account

Am not able to access the admin account after editin, now the display doesn’t show any forders or applications, only get access by using guest account is there any chance to repair the admin account? Please help me am using MacBook mid 2010

Exactly, what did you do and why were you doing it? Double-click on the disk drive's Desktop icon. Double-click on the Users folder. How many users are in that folder, and is one of them yours?
