Disable - Silence when phone is locked

how do i disable the Silence feature??


in the do not disturb section there is a Silence section


two options


1. ALWAYS


2. WHILE PHONE IS LOCKED


incoming calls and notification will be silenced while phone is locked


point 2 is ticked but i cannot turn this off


I DONT WANT THEM SILENCED


Please help

Neither of those settings is applicable if you don't have "Do Not Disturb" turned on in the setting at the top of that screen; i.e., if Do Not Disturb is turned off, it doesn't matter whether you have selected "Always" or "While iPhone is locked."


If you have Do Not Disturb turned off and your phone is not ringing when a call comes in, the first thing to check is the ring/silent switch on the side of the phone. It can be accidentally set to the silent position.
