Battery draining problem

Hi All,

My battery in iphone 6s is draining very fast now. It was not so at the time i purchased it. When checked with Apple support for the replacement of battery, I was told that the battery is in good condition and the problem might be due to the software. Can Apple release a IOS version which will adress this problem or the software update need not be pushed to older devices if it is not intended.

Have to charge my phone twice in a day.

There is no software, though Apple have or will soon help with an update. Nevertheless, read this document from Apple. Your phone does qualify for a replacement.

I had purchased the iphone on October 2016. Hardly 2 years.

Due to this i need to carry my charger to office or need to carry a power bank.

Was looking for a solution for quite sometime. Hope i will get a solution. Called Apple care and then went to Apple support centre. I have not received any concrete solution.
