Black images in Safari - reason found, not solved

First what in the heck is the deal w/ locked posts from just this past Dec/Nov on this issue - huh?!

All I wanted to do was answer my original post that the issue has been found - custom calibrated display color profiles like i1 Profiler make images in places like FB go black. Not all of them, but many.

A bug that needs to be fixed. Pretty ridiculous, actually

Finally found the reason for this "behavior" in this thread (now locked?!)

Btw, I have wide gamut displays - try using Apple's rather limited calibrator - colors will burn a hole in your eyes. Operating w/out custom calibration profiles (and x-rite device) is not acceptable, in the least.

Mac Pro, macOS High Sierra (10.13.2), Mac Pro 5,1 3 displays
