“Cannot Verify Server Identity” Message Keeps Popping Up
This week, my iPhone 7 on IOS 11 has been popping up a message that says “Cannit Verify Server Identity.” This has happened once before, but I ignored it, and it stopped. This time that it happened, it wouldn’t stop, so I texted my mom (I was in school at the time) and she told me that it’s happened to her before, too, and that she doesn’t worry about it and it goes away. So I tried to and it still kept popping up, and it is really annoying because it pops up so much I can’t really do anything. I just want to know how to make it stop. I have pressed details and cancel and neither does anything. It says something about my email, which is entouch.net. My family has used this for a while, and it’s not secure (it doesn’t have the little lock symbol when you’re on the website), but we’ve never had problems with it before. Again, I just want to know how to make this message stop popping up on my phone. I don’t need to worry about it because this thing seems like something my parents, who pay for my phone and basically everything else, need to worry about, not me, a 14 year old who doesn’t really know what to do with this message. I’ve tried looking up what to do, and it’s all the same: “Go into date and time and go on automatic, don’t worry about it, it’s just your phone switching cell towers.” The only two places I’ve been this week is school and my house and it constantly pops up. I don’t use the school wifi ‘cause it *****, but I only use like one or two towers while at school, so I don’t understand why it would have to do with that. Does anyone know a solution that actually works?
