Hi elizabethfromdavenport,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand that your iPad is having trouble connecting to the internet via your Wi-Fi network. I also see that you've reset your router and reset your iPad to factory settings, but the issue persists. I know how important it is to utilize a Wi-Fi connection on your iPad; I'm happy to point you in the right direction. Based on the information you've provided and the steps you've taken I'd recommend reaching out to Apple Support for further assistance: Contact Apple for support and service

Best Regards.
