Folder structure importing into Photos script failing after High Sierra

Hi all,

I was in the middle of migrating my library using the script when the update to high sierra came. Since then I keep on getting errors using the same script. I starts, runs for some time and then stops importing bringing an error aoub not being able to import pictures due to missing permissions. I have done some research. It seems this is in some form related to the new file system. The external drive for importing pictures from is in a non file senseitive old format.

If Iselect the folder on which the pictures failing are separately, the import runs fine for the very same pictures the script fails on. It almost seems that once a certain number of folder / pictures are imported , the script fails with the permission error.

Any Ideas on fixing this would be much appreciated.
