Have a friend with an iPad problem. She says the dock comes up at the bottom like normal but then it gets bigger & covers more of the screen. She says swiping down doesn't seem to work. What can she do?
THere are issues with the dock. Unfortunately many of these are software related so not much a user can do to fix them. SHe can force her iPad to reboot which should put the dock back where it belongs. It will likely mess up again but the forced reboot will bring it back.
To do a forced reboot hold down the sleep and home keys for 20 seconds or so. When she sees the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and her dock should be back to normal.
