Mac Disconnects from Apple TV while Mirroring

When mirroring video content from Mac to Apple TV (4th Gen) via mirroring or via Airplay option, it will disconnect randomly between 10-25 min. Connection can be made again by enabling.

All products using latest tvOS and macOS.

Not sure if any update on Apple TV or Mac may have caused issue and unable to find any current trends to this issue

any ideas on what it may be ?

That will be due to the network, issues can come at any time

Make sure no other activity is occuring (other streaming, web use, network backups etc)

If on wifi try ATV on Ethernet

To see a current status of the network get a report from istumbler, netstumbler or similar. Look for signal strength, noise, nearby networks

Test on another network
