See Network Name of Device in Shared?

One of my NASs is not visible in my network. I was poking around trying to understand the problem on my Mac. Through a series of clicks I don't remember, I got to a view where I could see the names of the devices on the network. I recall seeing an error in this particular device name, different absolute name and different network because of a typo, but I can't recreate what I did.

If relevant, I work in a mixed windows/Mac environment and the windows machines are part of a domain.
