Podcast artwork is still not updating on iTunes (SoundCloud)

Hi!

I've been struggling to get iTunes to update my new most recent thumbnail.

I've followed some instructions I've found here on the forums (thanks for the tips!) including changing the name of my file before re-uploading it on my SoundCloud account, making sure it's 1400px x 1400px, etc but I still can't figure out how to check the RSS feed to see if the photo file is updated or not?

As it's not appearing on iTunes (still the old photo of me without a beard on!).

Any ideas on how I can fix this please?

Your feed is at http://feeds.soundcloud.com/users/soundcloud:users:163541659/sounds.rss

The URL in your 'itunes:image' tag is http://i1.sndcdn.com/avatars-000413685714-4rpegx-original.jpg . This image is 1375 x 1375px and is thus too small. Once you've replaced it with a suitably sized one - minimum 1400 x 1400 px and less than 500kB - it may take the Store some days to update it.

Indeed, FAME AT LAST!
Thanks for your quick response and so glad you found the problem. For some reason it was showing up at 1400 x 1400px on my side, but clearly it wasn't. I've now updated it to 1500 x 1500px just to be safe and re-uploaded it on SoundCloud. Not sure if there's a way for me to check it's the right specs now? Also, 500kb sounds really small no? But I've gone ahead and made sure to export the cover art beneath 500kb. I believe it's now 400kb. If you have a minute to check on your end if it looks good I'd be forever grateful 🙂

It's my understanding that SoundCloud-generated feeds pull the iTunes artwork from the account's profile image, so make sure you're updating the artwork there.

Thanks Shawn, indeed you're right, whatever cover art work you put on SoundCloud, iTunes pulls that too.

Yes the image is fine now. It's just a matter of waiting for the Store to update it.
