I have several Macbooks and iPads, but they ALL are named as "iPad", or "David's Macbook Pro"! I would like to simply rename them like "Red Macbook", etc. Why can't I do this?!
MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
You rename them on the device itself.
Settings > General > About in iOS
On a Mac... System Preferences > Sharing > Computer Name
why can't I rename my devices that are listed on iCloud!?
