How do I remove rdrCEF permanently from my mac

Shortly after upgrading to High Sierra my mac began running extremely slow, couldn't open windows, connect to the web etc. I went into the activity monitor and found rdrCEFopening many threads. Was finally able to force quit the process, but as soon as I sign back on it starts again. From what I gather it was probably downloaded from the Adobe website, I do use Acrobat. My question is how do I permanently prevent this process from running?

2GHz Power PC G5 (iMac), Mac OS X (10.5.3), Mac Book Pro Intel
