Updated to high sierra and MacBook running hot & low battery life

Hi Guys.

I recently upgraded to High Sierra from Mavericks on a 13inch MacBook pro Retina Display (mid 2014) and I'm already experiencing higher temperatures averaging 45-59 degrees celsius and fans starting to come on loud when using multiple safari windows or tabs + shortened battery life. I have copied an Etrecheck report. Any help would be extremely useful. Cant i just downgrade to mavericks easily?
