Question: Problem with os maverick installation

In order to clean install is Mavericks, I have formatted my hard drive and started the installation process. but the computer gets freezed during the “preparing to install” phase each time,and the beach ball of death appears. No matter how long I wait ,the computer does not recovers from this standstillness. I have tried several times but in each case I met with a similar fate.please help

macbook, 2 GB ram

Boot in to Recovery holding the command R on boot up,

and from the drop down menu run the DiskUtility>FirstAid on the Macintosh HD

if errors are found and corrected, run it again until it reports no errors.


Then try again your Mavericks.
