no icon for iphone

I have 2 computers.
The first one: When I plug in my iphone into the USB, I can see my iPhone as a hard drive in "My Computer" and when I click on itune icon it can connect and communicate with my iPhone. This one works fine, but on the second computer, when I plug in my iPhone into the USB, I cant see the iPhone as a harddrive in the "My Computer", so my computer cannot communicate with it when I click on itune icon. My question is, how do I get my iPhone to show up in the "My Computer". I tried go to the control panel and use the Add Hardware menu, but it still cant see iPhone as a hard drive in "My Computer". I downloaded itune and re-install it but no help. Can anyone help. Im using a compaq computer and Im using Windows Xp home. I have a lot of memory and harddrive space, so that cant be the problem.

The iPhone differs from iPods in that aspect. If you have pics taken on the iPhone (in the iPhone's Camera Roll) then the iPhone does show up in My Computer, but you only have access to the photos in the Camera Roll.
Why do you want to connect to a second computer? Be aware that the iPhone will sync iTunes media content (music/videos/apps) with ONLY ONE computer. If you connect to a second computer, the media content loaded onto the iPhone from the first computer _will be deleted_ and replaced with the media content on the second computer.
I dont know what this one answer is but it sure *****. the question is WHY IS THE ICON NOT SHOWING UP IN THE SECOND COMPUTER, when it show up on the first.
I have the same problem. yet you ask why we want to do this.
well we took a picture, now we want to go to windows 10 and take it from the phone and blow it up and print it. sync and ...t is not important to anyone. we dont care about syncing. ...k syncing. i we just want to plug our iphone in and click on the icon and open the pictures and save them to our computer and print them.
WE DO NOT WANT TO ....ING SYNC.

If your iPhone is running iOS 10 or iOS 11, then it cannot communicate with a computer running Windows XP and must be updated to Windows 7 or later. Also, iOS does not support the use as an external disk and would only be visible as a connected device in Windows explorer for the purpose of importing photos and nothing more.
