my iPhone 8 is frozen mid update on the apple screen. I have pressed the on/off and volume down button simultaneously without effect. what to do
you must connect iPhone to cable conected to iTunes after that you will press volume up and let it than down volume and let than power and keep it untill you see your iPhone restart than let power buttom and press it agian.
put it in dfu mode and restore
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
cannot put phone in dfu mode as the prescribed combination of pressing first on/off then include volume down
buttons gets a response in the phone. it remains frozen with iPhone logo on screen
Thanks- tried that. When plugging phone into itunes it does not show connection. Pressing the buttons in right order has no effect.
