How do I transfer photos from a Chromebook to a MacBook Pro?

I recently bought a MacBook Pro with Retina Display as an upgrade from my Acer Chromebook. I'm now trying to transfer my photos on my Chromebook to my MacBook photo gallery but I can't figure out how to. Please help!

One option: I believe that photos on a Chromebook are usually synced to Google Photos (if they aren't in your case, that is something that you can do). Then see the following for information on how to download them to a computer from https://photos.google.com/:

Download photos or videos to your device - Computer - Google Photos Help

Once they are on your Mac you can then import them into the Photos library (if you want) via the Photos File menu Import command.
