Canon PIXMA MG4150

I've recently changed my old MacBook for a new MacBook Air, I used to be able to scan from the printer mentioned in the title. But not just individual pages, I could could keep scanning using the device controls and it would create a file on my computer.

I've now updated to High Sierra and now I can only scan individual pages, no files. I also have to keep using the control board on the Mac itself which is very hit and miss...

Please can anyone shed any light or info on how I can rectify this as it's essential to my business.
