Printers always disappear after upgrading to High Sierra
Hi,
I upgraded to High Sierra recently and every time I reboot the system (i.e. turn it off for the evening, turn it on next morning) the printers have all disappeared. I can reset the printing system (Ctrl + right-click in the empty window in System Prefs > Printers & Scanners) and add all my printers back in again, which takes a few minutes (the Printers & Scanners window takes quite a few seconds to open up), but why is this happening? I've updated to the latest version, 10.13.3, and there are no updates pending. My system is as follows:
Model Name: iMac (late 2013)
Model Identifier: iMac14,2
Processor Name: Intel Core i5
Processor Speed: 3.2 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 6 MB
Memory: 32 GB
Boot ROM Version: IM142.0123.B00
SMC Version (system): 2.15f7
Any help would be appreciated as this is annoying! My Mac's getting on a bit now but I don't know why it should do this after an OS upgrade.
Many thanks,
Sam
