Getting old photos from old Time Machine backup from iPhoto days

I have a Mac Book Pro. I am currently using Mac OS X 10.13.3 I want to access a few photos from an old Time Machine backup (over 5 years old) from when I was using iPhoto. Is there a way to see and import a few of these photos to Photos on my current computer? All I have been able to find about this when browsing online is how to restore a whole photo library, which I do not want to do.

Restoring some photos from a time machine backup I want to find a few pictures that I recently deleted on my current computer. I have those on an older back up.
