Question: Why can’t warranty cover iOS update crashing a iPhone 7

iCloud shows phone backed up Saturday about 11pm, started the iOS update and Nonowent to bed, woke up to a dead phone. It worked perfect prior to update and never had any issues with phone. Took phone to Apple store and they say sorry your iPhone 7 is out of warranty can’t help you. WHAT ! Your freaking update killed my phone and it’s my fault ?!?!?

Bcuz... if you have a pc you can restore iDevice with iTunes and the crash problem will solve. If you don’t have a computer or you have an elder pc who it can’t run iTunes you can answer to an Apple store if they do this for you.

1) The warranty is for hardware , you issue is with software.

2) Your warranty had expired.

3) It is your choice to decide to upgrade software.

4) If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - https://support.apple.com/HT201263 - You can put your iOS device into recovery mode, then restore it using iTunes.
