4) If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - https://support.apple.com/HT201263 - You can put your iOS device into recovery mode, then restore it using iTunes.
Bcuz... if you have a pc you can restore iDevice with iTunes and the crash problem will solve. If you don’t have a computer or you have an elder pc who it can’t run iTunes you can answer to an Apple store if they do this for you.

They must be lucky and you are the unlucky one.
It is true, their servers should have a record of it being backed up sat night at 11pm then it getting the update immediately after, then dead...... nothing.
