Safari opening text-only page on top of window

When I click on a link in Safari 11.0.3 it opens the window for about 1 second then opens a text-only page on top. There is text only, without any photos When I open that same window in Firefox, I get the complete page, with photos (and ads).

It sounds like you may have a third party Safari extension or plug-in installed that causing a conflict.
