iPhone4/ iOS 7.1.2. No video when calling iPhone 10

When I FaceTime the latest iPhone they can see and hear me, I can only hear but not see them. The video does work with facebook messenger so I know there is nothing wrong with the camera. However this person will not do facebook so I can't use that.

Has anyone found a cause and a fix for this? Many thanks.

FaceTime mutes person on line when noise on my end Whenever I FaceTime anyone they are muted for any sound on my end. My children making noise in the background, a dog barking, if we were to talk at the same time - I can see the person I’m speaking with’s lips moving but no sound. And it takes multiple seconds for their sound to come back. Only has happened for me on iPhone 13. Closing app, restarting phone, updating it is not working. Help.

facetime not working so for the past few days, anytime i facetime a friend it says poor connection the entire time on my screen, but the person on the other end of the call can see me perfectly, i can hear them perfectly but i can’t see them. i have tried turning the app on and off, updating my software, and restarting my phone. it ends the call after a few minutes due to the “poor connection” but it’s like facetime is working fine but i can’t see the other person. only the “poor connection” screen.
