Slideshow made in Photos app being very choppy, not smooth

I made a slideshow containing photos and trimmed videos in Photos app on my iMac. When I exported the slideshow, the transitions between the slides are not as smooth as the preview and some videos (not all of them) are very choppy. How can I fix the problem keeping the best or better quality of the videos and photos? Some of them were taken with Android phone and iPhone, and the rest were taken with my reflex camera, if that helps. Thanks!

Problem with photos app MacOS: Exporting a slideshow with videos as slides cuts off every video at 1 second Hi, I´m wondering if someone knows the solution for this problem. I´ve created a slideshow on the photos app on mac OS and now want to export this as video. Generally this works well, just every single video that is included in the slideshow is being cut off at about 1 second. I was hoping that the videos could be seen in full length and not treaded as a static photo slide. I´ve tried to adjust the total length of the slide show to be longer, hoping that the videos would then be shown in full length, but unfortunately it´s the same problem. Anyone experiencing the same problem ? I would gladly create the video in iMovie, but I spent so much time on creating slideshows with titles in Photos already that I would not want to redo this entirely. Maybe there is an option to transfer a photos slideshow to iMovie directly ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Martin

Photos Slideshow Transitions Stuttering Continues I think it is curious that there are threads on this problem that extend back to 2005. Yet it still persists when exporting Photos slideshows. I have a brand new Mac Studio and I thought this problem would disappear with the faster and more powerful processing associated with the M1 chip. Yet, it persists. Now it is true that my slideshows run 20 minutes or so and have music and movies embedded. So maybe it's asking a bunch for Photos to manage an export of such complicated set of instructions. But maybe what I have discovered might help others. I've noticed that most of the stuttering problems crop up in the second 10 minutes of such a complicated slide show. So, I divided the slideshow into two portions and then exported each separately at 720p. (Changing the resolution does not eliminate the problem, by the way). Once I did that a number of times, I note that there were no problems with the second half of the slide show, and only one "stutter" in the first half. Then I combined them using Quicktime's "trim" and "add clip" functions. I realize that this problem would probably not crop up if I just imported the whole set of images and movies into Final Cut Pro. But the Slideshow function is so easy to use. But, again, I do find it curious that the problem has not had a fix.

Slideshow in Photos 7 for Maverick does not fill the screen Why is there a black border on top and bottom when I play a slideshow in Photos? I would expect it to fill the screen as completely as possible, and thus only leave space on the sides if the format dictates that. Instead it creates an ugly big black border all around the picture. Resolution of the photos are higher than the screen, so that's not it. And I'm asking about the regular slideshow option, where you select a bunch of pictures and 'Play slideshow' There's probably more options with the silly slideshow project feature, but that's way too cumbersome for just quickly wanting to look at a few photos fullscreen
