Chopped audio playback of GoPro Hero 5 2k footage on FCP X

I recorded a concert my friends band played at a local pub. I imported the footage on FCP X and lined them up on the timeline and let the whole thing render. During playback, the audio becomes laggy. Like its being chopped. The video if fine though.

The footage specs:

I have a Late 2014 Mac Mini

2.6 Ghz Intel Core i5

8GB 1600 MHz DDR 3

GoPro 4K time lapse not playing correctly I have a set of 4 4K time lapses I filmed on a GoPro hero 8. The original format was AVC format. I downloaded the 4 MP4 files from the GoPro and loaded them into FCPX it transcoded them into ProRes 422 as usual. If I skim all the frames are there. It has a duration that is reasonable (like let's say 10 seconds on average). I added my usual title video sequence and the 4 clips onto the timeline, added my title overlays. And press play and the title clip plays as usual, the time lapse videos instantly finish. FCPX tells me the timeline should have a ~50 second duration. Figuring something failed on the import transcoding I brought the original clips into compressor and transcoded them manually into prores 422 HQ, and it all worked fine and in quicktime player it plays as I expect (the 10'ish second duration) but in FCPX the preview plays instantly and nothing I can do so far will make it play the normal 30fps I had the videos set to. quicktime clearly knows the duration and it plays silky smooth fcpx thinks it knows the duration but doesn't play it that way (plays it instantly)

FCP MULTICAM EDITING -Changing audio after the multi cam edit Hello, I am stuck in a frustrating problem. I recently finished editing 1.30 hours of Multicam edit. Later I received better quality audio and wanted to replace it with the edit. I followed a few things online and later added another angle with the new good sound and then synced it with the monitor and deleted the old bad audio angle. Now when I play the clip in the compound mode (where I can see all 4 tracks) the new audio seems fine but the moment I come out of the compound clip into the main timeline, it still plays the old bad audio? I just deleted the bad audio angle and yet the main timeline continues to play from that bad audio track! Why isn't the clip using the new synced good audio? am I missing something? Thank Irfan

Any way to raise volume of an exported video without re-rendering whole file? I have been given some videos where the audio is too low even when the TV/computer amplifier is set to maximum. If I put them in FCP X and raise the volume it takes ages to re-render/export them . . . I am virtually exporting the complete video again. Am I missing something . . . is there a way to alter the volume speedily? I can do it in Avidemux . . . a one hour video takes less than 20 seconds to reprocess but I would prefer to use FCP X if that's possible.
