Change destination location of synched icloud drive on PC

Can I change the destination location of the synched iCloud drive on my PC? For example, after downloading and installing iCloud for PC, it sets up the syched files drive to C:\user\icoulddrive (or similar) and I really need to change it to D:\... something.

Yes, you can. Give the following a try:

  1. Disable iCloud Drive from the Control Panel.
  2. Move (not copy) your iCloud Drive directory (C:\Users\<username>\iCloudDrive) to the new location.
  3. Open an Administrator command prompt and type: mklink /j "C:\Users\<username>\iCloudDrive" "<new destination>" This should create a junction between the old and new locations.
  4. Reboot your computer.
  5. Re-enable iCloud Drive from the Control Panel.
