Auto rotation occasionally stops working on iPad Pro

On my iPad Pro 9.7 running IOS 11.2.5, I’ve had a reoccurring problem where auto rotation stops working. I’ve double checked and auto rotation is enabled in the panel that pops up if I swipe up. I’ve found that whenever this happens I can fix it by powering off and restarting my iPad. This seems like a software bug to me.

Hi there, Jgarrison35!
Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you have been having issues with the device screen not rotating properly. You’ve tried an excellent step restarting the device and I am happy to help out! At this point, it would be a good idea to be sure there is not a software issue as the root cause of this for you.

Let me know the results and take care!
