Display Green w/DVI adapter

When connecting a new HD display to macBook Pro using a VGA to DVI adaper, then screen looks green. Works fine with HDMI cable but I need two/three displays. How to correct? I am seeing question posed by others with no apparent solution?

macbook pro 13 2019 dual moniter not working only one is working at a time Hi, i have a macbook pro 13 2019 and trying to connect two samsung monitors they are old but have the option for vga/dislayport/dvi with different display adapter, one monitor is working fine on vga but when i try to connect the second monitor on vga with different display adapter on second thunderbolt port it did not event detect it, any help or recommendations would be appreciated.

Connecting MacBook Pro 2019 16" with Apple Cinema Display 23'' I have a new MacBook Pro 2019 16''. And I have an Apple Cinema Display 23" with DVI connection. I have already tried three USB-C to DVI adapters and none worked: 1. Delock (USB-Type-C male -> DVI 24+5 female), Problem: Ghosting 2. LMP USB-C to DVI, I don't have exact details anymore, because I already sent it back, Problem: flickering, Display goes on and off and on and off.... 3. equip USB C to DVI-I seem also not work, I read in a review for this product, Problem: Ghosting And by the way, the Display works perfectly fine with my old MacBook Pro with a MiniDisplayport to DVI adapter. Does anyone know an adapter that actually works? It should exist, right? Any help would be appreciated a lot.
