Notifications on MacBook

The notifications app has stopped updating. When I click on the 3 horizontal bar icon in the menu bar there are no updates after Friday, March 9, 2018

Why am I getting notifications from 'The Big Issue" on my macbook? I don't have the news app or any the big issue apps downloaded on my mac but have started getting notifications in my notification bar. I have restarted and updated to the latest software incase this is malware, but it won't stop. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?

MacBook Pro not receiving any notifications! My MacBook Pro 2018 with Touch Bar, has not been receiving any notifications. I do not get notifications for messages nor my emails. I do get a badge icon that appears on the apps yet no notification in the right hand corner. I have checked do not disturb and it is off, and my notifications are on for all my apps. I also cannot open the notification manager in the top right hand corner. Every time I press it nothing happens. Please help, I have restarted them multiple times, and even gone to the activity monitor to try and reset the notification engine.

Notifications appear in incorrect corner of screen When I get notifications on macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, they appear in the upper left corner of the screen, rather than the upper right. Additionally, they're too high — just below the menu bar (or slightly overlapping). I thought the issue might be Magnet but even when I quit Magnet, the notifications appear in the upper left corner. What's going on? Do I have an app installed that's breaking notifications, or is this a High Sierra bug?
