transfer user from old computer to be a second user on a new computer

I would like to transfer my wife's user account, currently on a MacBook Pro (13 inch, mid 2012), running OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), TO my newer MacBook Pro (Retina, 13 inch, Early 2015), running OS X El Capitan (10.11.6) as a separate user account. I only have one user account on my newer Retina MacBook, and would like to have her as a user on this newer MacBook instead of alone on her old (slow) MacBook. How can I do this?

OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

Use Migration Assistant to transfer just her Home folder to your computer. You needn't do more. Be sure you have not created an account for her on your computer. If you have, then delete it before migrating.

How to use Migration Assistant to transfer files from another Mac. If needed read Target Disk Mode for how to hook up the two machines together for the data transfer.
