iBooks preorder won't download

The book just released yesterday, but it won't download for me. I've checked on twitter and other people got the book at midnight just fine. It says I've purchased it when I go to the book's page, but I've checked my purchases and it's not under there. iTunes says it's still under preorder.

How do I fix this? I've thought of canceling the preorder, but I don't think that will work since it says I've already purchased it. Also, I don't want to pay full price.

iBooks does not seem to be recognizing that books have been previously purchased when the purchase price has changed. iBooks does not seem to be recognizing that books have been previously purchased when the purchase price has changed. I pre-ordered and purchased Woodward's "Fear" - and it automatically downloaded to my iPad on the day of release and $14.99 appeared on my invoice from Apple. However, after upgrading to Mojave on my desktop I noticed it was among books that have disappeared and does not show up on my purchased list. I originally though it was a Mojave issue, but. I then checked my iPad and my iPhone -- and the book has disappeared there too. The book is now listed at $12.99 and iBooks will not let me download it on any of those devices without paying again. (Many of my previously purchased books seem to be gone...). I think iBooks is treating it as a different book when they updated the pricing on the iBooks site. [I do not like the redesign of iBooks... it takes much longer to locate my books and open books I want to read, let alone see the complete list of my book and samples... too many clicks to get back to what was one click beforehand.... this issue is just one more reason I think they've really screwed up the redesign.] [Re-Titled by Host]

Unable to download purchases in IBooks Lately, in a new development with my IBooks account, when I try to purchase a book by clicking on the purchase price, I just see a little spinning circle, but no acknowledgment of purchase or book downloading into my library. Also, when I try to download books from my Cloud account, the download status bar at the bottom of the book title also fails to load. I have tried all the fixes suggested including signing out and signing back into my ITunes App Store and turning the device off an on... and still no luck or answers...... Somebody Help. BTW, my device is an IPad 4 mini 128GB. Version 11.2.2 Thanks
