Plantronics Bluetooth Headset Randomly disconnects and reconnects

I have a plantronics M25 bluetooth headset disconnects and reconnects from my iPhone 6S at random. Why? Apple, what are you doing to fix this problem? I have seen numerous web pages of other people complaining about the same issue. It's been going on for quite some time. And, the issue is not confined to Plantronics headsets. Apple, please help!!

I can be on a call using my headset and a call waiting call come in... disconnect from the first call to switch over and the headset disconnects. It will not reconnect unless I turn off bluetooth on the phone, then restart. Even then sometimes I have to turn the headset off and back on. From one call to the next on a $1,000 phone seems ridiculous!! I've tried this with an older bluetooth headset as well, with the same results.

chronic bluetooth headset disconnect & reconnect My Jabra Steel bluetooth headset suddenly started to disconnect, and instantly reconnect from my iPhone 8 for no reason. The phone is less than a month old an has worked flawlessly for most of that time. The phone is on my belt ,and the headset is in my ear 99% of the time. It also happens intermittently when opening the phone from a locked screen or, opening and switching apps. I contacted Jabra and they had me reset the headset and forget the device but, I fear it is something with the phone, not the headset because of the latter situation. I've gone through the setting that I can find that might be related. Ideas? settings?

Bluetooth connection drops out On my iPhone 7 my Bluetooth headset connects but every few minutes it drops the connection and then reconnects automatically. It has done this since the day I received it. I have tried restoring the phone and resetting network settings but it still does the same thing. Before I start a return process are there any other things I should try. And before you ask yes I tested my headset on my wife’s iPhone 7 and it works flawlessly on hers.
