iOS system using 115 GB storage — all my music

At some point this evening, the music files on my iPad (or the storage space they use) seem to have been somehow sucked into the System because "System" is showing storage of 115.7 GB in Settings > General > iPad Storage.

I keep all my ripped music on my iPad but I can no longer see them in the Music app, only the few iTunes purchases I've made.

I've powered off the iPad several times, as well as done a soft reset (Home/Power Button) with no luck.

Anyone ever see this? If so, is there any resolution short of a restore from backup?
