activation lock

I know you’ll be disappointed but I have to tell you that unless you know the appropriate passwords or, the person who had originally set up that activation lock can be traced and will help, that phone is of no further use.

Activation lock is a protective feature against loss or theft you will learn to value when you have a working phone.

There is no way to bypass it. Read these documents for guidance.

If you were the original purchaser of that phone and have the receipt and proof of your identity, an Apple store could help you. But only if you meet the conditions I've just mentioned.

Then you can do no more unless she gives you back your property. I cannot comment on that of course.
